Fenhujaali — "the early dawn" in Assamese
A public charitable trust working to revive traditional skills, expand education, and engineer socio-economic development in the rural communities of Assam.

The Trust was established in memory of its founder's parents, Sarada and Gopal, who — despite being illiterate — were celebrated in their locality for their profound wisdom and deep benevolence.

To shine as a beacon of hope and a transformative catalyst — cultivating a locally relevant landscape of creativity, innovation, and economic inclusion for the marginalised communities of Assam.
To tailor community needs by utilising available resources, traditional skills, and local knowledge — engaging local stakeholders and leveraging education, skill pathways, and modern opportunity.
A comprehensive strategy that engages local stakeholders, leverages educational outreach, reinvents traditional skills, and cultivates possibilities that stimulate creativity and economic inclusion.

Our four pillars of work
Expanding access to quality education for youth in geographically remote areas of Assam, bridging the gap caused by distance and resource scarcity.
Reinvigorating the practice of handloom, handicrafts, cane and bamboo crafts, and other traditional skills — honouring Assam's celebrated weaving legacy.
Creating pathways to economic opportunity through skill development, technology exposure, and support for cottage industries in every household.
Engaging local stakeholders, elders, and youth to design solutions rooted in local knowledge — building a self-reliant and hopeful community.
